The CEO is responsible for setting the overall vision and strategic direction of the organization within the Estonian cryptocurrency industry. This involves understanding market trends, identifying opportunities for growth, and developing plans for the organization. The Chief Executive Officer is responsible for ensuring that the company complies with relevant laws and regulations, and for staying abreast of developments in this area. The CEO plays a central role in driving the success of a cryptocurrency company, from setting the strategic direction to building a strong team by fostering innovation and growth.
The company provides over-the-counter cryptocurrency exchange services in Estonia and the European Economic Area. This service is a key offering for our customers, allowing them to conveniently purchase Bitcoins using major credit cards such as Mastercard and Visa.
Key responsibilities:
Defining strategic goals and objectives to guide the company's growth and development.
Identifying and pursuing strategic partnerships within the cryptocurrency ecosystem to drive growth and expand the company's reach in Estonia.
Taking the lead and acting as an example for the team based in Estonia.
Staying informed about relevant regulatory developments and ensuring that the company complies with all applicable laws and regulations.
Developing internal and external compliance processes and controlling to mitigate regulatory risk.
Identifying and assessing potential risks to the company's operations, finances, and reputation, and developing strategies to mitigate those risks.
Developing and communicating a clear vision for the company's role and impact in the cryptocurrency industry in the MiCa regulation world.
Acting as a main contact person for government institutions.
Supporting the company's reputation and promoting its vision to the Estonian market.
What do we appreciate?
Higher education in Finance, Law, or Business Administration.
At least 5 years of experience managing international service-oriented companies, with a background in Compliance, Finance, or Banking industry.
2+ years of experience and knowledge in the cryptocurrency industry.
Solid experience in working in a fast-changing environment.
Knowledge of regulatory operations.
